Just Breathe

Resetting your Mind: A 3 Breath Mental Exercise to Refocus on What’s Really Important

Do you ever get the feeling that the world is against you? Do you sometimes feel that nothing is going right?

You want to make things happen, make a difference in your life. But setback after setback always gets in the way.

Your goals and dreams seem so far away, so unreachable. And the naysayers are in full force:

"I told you it wouldn't work."

"You don't know what you're doing."

"Give up!"

Everything is Wrong

But should you give up? Yes, things can be overwhelming, but is it the right decision to turn your back on your dreams?

That's a resounding "No!" You shouldn't do anything rash.

Take things one step at a time. I challenge you to try this one-minute mental hack. It works for me, and I'm confident it will work for you.

Follow along so you can regain the focus you need:

1. First, you may take one big breath.

Inhale. Exhale.

2. Then, on your next one, feel your body relax as you breathe.

Inhale. Exhale.

3. Now, for the final one, you should think about your dreams and aspirations.

Inhale. Exhale.

Why don't you close your eyes and think deeply about what you want to achieve? Why is this important to you?

Now ask yourself, "What is the most important thing you need to do today to get closer to that goal?"

Breathe

Wait for the answer.

Did something come to mind? Did you notice how your perspective has changed in a span of just one minute?

When you started, you didn't know what to do. You're stuck. But now, you are in action mode.

What you have experienced is what the world's most successful leaders do to clear their minds, especially when they are under pressure. They do this exercise to think strategically and avoid making bad reactive decisions.

You gain a sense of clarity and confidence when you are aligned with your most important goals.

Tony Robbins says that the power of positive thinking is the ability to generate a feeling of certainty in yourself when nothing in the environment supports you.

positive thinking

It will take you just 60 seconds to do this mind hack. This 3-breath exercise can transform how you think and feel in an instant.

Allow this to help you in your journey to overcome setbacks and adversities and, most importantly, to reach the success you so richly deserve.
